Our Guarantee

All of our livestock is guaranteed to arrive alive and stay alive for 24 hours. We ship only healthy specimens with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. We understand that ordering online is not the same as buying from your local fish store; this is why we assure you we only ship the best specimens in our inventory. When ordering from our online catalog, we guarantee that the item you pick is the item you will receive. All pictures are taken under 20K or 12K metal halide lighting, and color descriptions are based on this lighting. Coral coloration may vary depending on lighting conditions.

Due to our shipping practices and the health of our corals it is unusual that a specimen will arrive dead. Unfortunately it sometimes happens. Any claim for a dead specimen is shown as a credit to your account and will be applied towards your next order. YOU HAVE 60 DAYS TO USE THIS CREDIT. For a claim to be valid you must sign for your delivery on the first attempt. Never refuse a delivery. You must acclimate your order right away. We do not give refunds and do not take returns. Credits reflect the sales price of the dead specimen and not shipping or box fees. All claims must be e-mailed or phoned into Phishy Business no more than 24 hours after delivery.

Shipping Livestock

Shipping from our LIVESTOCK Catalog:
We use FedEx Priority Overnight for shipments from our Livestock Catalog. Orders will be delivered to your door by 10:30 A.M. or in rural areas by 12:00 P.M. We ship for arrival Tuesday through Saturday with additional fees of $15.00 for Saturday deliveries if not held at a FedEx location for pick up. Deliveries should never be refused. Any damaged package which contains damaged livestock should be addressed to FedEx customer service as soon as possible. Always have the FedEx courier note that package is damaged and also inform us. Phishy Business is not responsible for damage to livestock due to mishandling of shipment by FedEx but, we will help file a claim if needed. All orders may be tracked through the FedEx website. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE LIVE ARRIVAL ON SATURDAY DELIVERIES. Due to weather or service failures which can result in your package being grounded until Monday delivery. We only ship in the continental United States.

Livestock shipping from our LIVESTOCK Catalog is a flat fee of $40.

$15.00 additional fee for Saturday delivery.

Shipping cost will show up as a line item on your invoice when checking out.

All orders receive a $10 box charge regardless of amount. If your order takes 2 or more boxes to ship we will only charge you for one box. You may refer to the FedEx website to track your order. You will receive a notification via e-mail with your FedEx tracking information the night your order is shipped. Shipping from our CARIBBEAN Catalog:
We use FedEx Standard Overnight for shipments from our Caribbean Catalog. Orders will be delivered to your door by 3:00 P.M or in rural areas by 5:00 P.M. We ship for arrival Tuesday through Saturday with additional fees of $15.00 for Saturday deliveries if not held at a FedEx location for pick up. Deliveries should never be refused. Any damaged package which contains damaged livestock should be addressed to FedEx customer service as soon as possible. Always have the FedEx courier note that package is damaged and also inform us. Phishy Business is not responsible for damage to livestock due to mishandling of shipment by FedEx but, we will help file a claim if needed. All orders may be tracked through the FedEx website. Packing

We go to great lengths to insure that your order arrives alive and undamaged. We have researched the best methods used in this industry and take great pride in packing your order. Your order is packed between 6 P.M. and 8 P.M. and dropped off at FedEx before 9 P.M. the evening before scheduled delivery. All livestock is packed in 3 individual 4MIL poly bags with oxygen. We then line your shipping box with a 2 MIL poly box liner. Heat pack(s) or cold pack(s) are used depending on seasonal and locational requirements. Your corrugated shipping box has 1.5 inch styrofoam walls for extra strength and insulation. "Live animal inside" and "This side up" stickers are placed on the outside of your box. Box fees include the cost of bags, box liners, heat or cold packs, and the corrugated box. A $10.00 fee is charged for all box sizes on all orders.

Placing an order

To place an order please use the shopping cart or call 614.471.3474 seven days a week 10 A.M. to 9 P.M. EST. You may pay with either Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal. For customers who have placed orders before, orders are also taken via e-mail at orders@phishybusiness.com. For orders to be shipped the same day they must received by 5 PM EST. All others will be shipped the following day or as noted by customer. We will not hold orders for longer then 7 days. A 15% repacking fee is applied to credit cards that are denied.

Acclimation

Please follow the directions below to acclimate your new corals:

  • Step One: Remove all outer bags and float closed bag in tank or sump for 20 minutes. This will allow water temperature in bag to equal water temperature in your tank.
  • Step Two: In a clean water container carefully insert the contents of the bag. Make sure that your container is small enough so that your specimen will be completely covered with water from bag. Add tank water to this container in small amounts over a 90-minute period. Take your time!
  • Step Three: Do not add water from container into your tank. This is always a good practice to avoid unwanted contamination. Add your new animal to your tank. Placement is very important. Start your new animal no higher than mid tank and in an area of medium current. After three to four days you may place your new animal in its final location. Make sure to research the proper environment for your new animal before arrival.
