"Lima scabra" Flame Scallops (or File Clams) are not photosynthetic like some of the other clams found in the hobby; as such, they can be kept under low light conditions. They are dedicated filter feeders, and will require heavy phytoplankton supplements in the 5-30 micron range in order to thrive long term.
